My mom passed away this week.  I'm going through photos for the funeral and this one will be in there.  This was taken at my baby shower, 25 years ago, of my mom, her mom, and sisters.  This photo has been hanging on her fridge since then.

I was looking through an old cookbook and found recipes for beaver.  I've never heard of anyone eating beaver.  The dates on it were 1947 with revisions up to 1959.

I got prescription computer glasses.  The optometrist asked what I used from the cheap drugstore glasses and I said nothing really was right.  He said it's because my eyes are different prescription numbers and I have astigmatism.  I got these and they're great- I can see pixels I never noticed before.
