My two youngest got new mattresses today.

The road got surface sealed today. They first put down this "American-sourced, field proven Maltene Replacement Technology (MRT) product" (according to a flyer they left by the mailbox). Then went over it with some sort of sand/grit. Their flyer said we're only supposed to go 5 MPH for two days. Nobody does... even the bicycles go faster than that.

It looks like something is being built across the street. We're guessing a building, maybe a house. Today a bulldozer scraped the topsoil into big piles.

We got more snow. I saw this car slowly go sideways, then slowly slide into the little hill across the road. They got turned back around after a few minutes and went on their way. Nobody else seemed to have problems with the road, though it was another two hours before the first plow truck went by.

We went to an aquatic pet store.  While we were checking out the cashier said he just got a winter weather alert for the next 30 minutes. We went outside and it was snowing little hail balls, it was like we were being pelted with tiny styrofoam balls. We ended up driving in it the whole way home.

I'm off work this week so went out to see my daughter fly. She went on a solo flight today. In the second picture she is checking the fuel level. The planes look so small in person!

I went to my nephew's Christmas concert. A big snowstorm got to us while I was in there so had a slow drive home, but it was nice to see the band and choir- the kids did a good job.

We went to the Toys for Tots at the blimp hanger. This year the blimp is painted in a historic color scheme to celebrate 100 years of their blimps.

My husband had a tire changer delivered today.

I got a new car last month. It's got so many extras it will probably be years before I find them all. Since I don't drive much, we figure this will last until retirement or longer.
