We had a baby deer under our crabapple this morning. Later it went into the thick grass under the tree where it was rather difficult to see.

We planted Indian corn, beans, and squash in most of this garden. The last 20 feet or so I planted with flower seeds today.

There was some sundogs today and we could see a hint of the circle connecting them.

There was a big lightning storm to the south and I got a few photos. This one has lightning and a lightning bug (the yellow line above the lightning bolt).

More watering. We scrounged up enough garden hoses to reach this garden.

It looks like something is being built across the street. We're guessing a building, maybe a house. Today a bulldozer scraped the topsoil into big piles.
