I've been scanning in old photos. This is one of those old 'magnetic' albums with sticky pages. Once I get them out they won't stick again so I have to put them in a new album.

My mom did a cross stitch for each grandchild. This is the one for my niece, the youngest. It is not done, but as far as I can tell it only needs some outlines. I'm going to finish it and get it framed.

They opened their time capsule. It wasn't too bad considering how long it was in the ground. Two bags had gotten wet though. They had a small teddy bear, beads, rocks, and photos inside.

Nearly 8 years ago my daughter and two younger nephews buried a 'time capsule' with my parents. They weren't able to find it a few weeks ago but today my daughter managed to find where it was buried.  We'll have to get all three together to open it, hopefully next weekend.

We divided up the quilts and jewelry today.  It was fun watching the kids divvy up things.  They're pretty agreeable and I think all got items they liked. My brother and sister in law took this quilt top as her mom quilts so hopefully will be able to finish it.
