I finally got a new stove. The old one was from 2002 so lasted a while. It still worked, mostly, but the electronic display kept losing lines so it was was just a matter of time until it stopped. I'm looking forward to using the griddle there in the middle.

I got a scanner which can scan documents and photos quickly. I scanned the 52 page recipe collection in a minute or two and saved it in a folder I can share.

I got prescription computer glasses.  The optometrist asked what I used from the cheap drugstore glasses and I said nothing really was right.  He said it's because my eyes are different prescription numbers and I have astigmatism.  I got these and they're great- I can see pixels I never noticed before.

My husband froze a bucket of ice for the ice box.  It got the cabinet down to 46° for a while.

We took a look at new garage openers.  Most of them are "smart", which to me means it will break sooner than ones which are normal.

My oldest froze some water in a bucket to make an ice block.  He put it in the ice box to see how cold it gets.  The temperature has dropped some, but it's taking a while.  Maybe the block isn't big enough.
