We measured our back yard maple tree. They need to be 10" diameter for one tap, 20" for two. This one is well on it's way to two. We still think of it as a little tree, but it's growing faster than we realize.
My major in college was studio art. Immediately after graduation, my husband and I started a family. As our family grew, art production took a back seat. Even photographs dwindled with each addition. I bought a DSLR, and decided to start my own art project. I will take pictures every day, and post one of them on this site.
I am finding that with digital, the results are immediate, allowing me to check my images and right away make adjustments to re-shoot the photo. The pictures are becoming a learning tool, and I hope that my photography impoves as the years progress.
