13 school days.  That is all it took for my daughter to get sick.  Conveniently, on Monday they sent an email saying when to keep them home.  It included these two attachments- a flow chart and an emoji chart.  Following the email instructions, any illness will end up keeping them out of school for about a week- even if it's not covid.  It's crazy that some schools are not mandating masks- and that many parents are against masks.  Fortunately, after a week, our school started mandating masks, for now.
