It was cold enough this morning for there to be a decent amount of ice on the inside of the windows.  It's scary to think how much ice would be there if it was below 20 like it was in many places recently.  It was around 9 below when I took this picture.

Today was the coldest it's been in a while.  Yesterday around this time it was 44 out.  During the day, every time I looked it was 2 degrees colder, until it was almost -12.  The wind was blowing hard too.  The kids got an extra 2 days vacation from school, as tomorrow is supposed to be about the same.

The camper makes the barn and tractor look small.  But it's good to have those out of the snow.  We didn't get much snow blowing into our east facing door, but we did get a snow drift right in front of it.

Winter- it's here!  It's been snowing and blowing all day, though the snowflakes were small so it could have been a lot more snow.  It was getting close to being too tall for our garden tractor though.  Maybe this year we'll try to find a plow for the big tractor, now that it will have a barn to stay in to keep it's diesel engine warm enough to start.
