I got her the sweat pants for Christmas, so she'd have something kind of fancy to wear to ballet class during the winter.  (As a parent, I also liked that it didn't have the words across her rear end.)

My daughter is like me and doesn't fall asleep right away when she goes to bed.  So she'll lay there and read a book.  In the dark.  I'm not sure how she can see it.

It was 5 degrees outside this morning.  My husband took the kids to the end of the driveway in the van to wait for the bus so they wouldn't get too cold.

The snow that gets pushed off the road can get quite ugly.  The wind blows the snow into drifts here at the end of the driveway.  When I turned around to look the other direction, the snow along the road is half this height.
