October 14, 2026

A few weeks ago the stores got the Christmas stuff out. They've already got aisles and aisles of decorations out.

October 12, 2026

I guess President Trump was in a city not too far away- close enough my daughter couldn't fly today because we're in a no-fly zone. Somebody in a little, old bi-plane flew into the county airport near us and we got buzzed by an F16 fighter jet for about 15 minutes.

October 11, 2026

The car my daughter uses got new brakes on the front today.

October 10, 2026

We got fall chores done today- got the cover on the pool, the gardens disced and rye cover crop planted, except for the one with the pumpkins that are still growing. This is the rye seed.

I planted some hungarian sweet wax peppers... which are not sweet, but rather hot. At least they are colorful.

October 3, 2026

The pumpkins we got so far. They're not huge, but they have a nice shape and color.

The garden section where we grew sweet corn is ready for rye for the winter.
