July 28, 2025

Our pear tree has lots of pears coming in this year.

July 24, 2025

One of the black eyed susan flowers in my field is dark orange.

July 23, 2025

I borrowed a scraper from my son's 3D printer to help get photos out of these albums.

July 20, 2025

I finally got a new stove. The old one was from 2002 so lasted a while. It still worked, mostly, but the electronic display kept losing lines so it was was just a matter of time until it stopped. I'm looking forward to using the griddle there in the middle.

July 19, 2025

The gardens got weedy and aren't doing too well this year. Might have been too wet and too hot in June.

July 18, 2025

I've been scanning in old photos. This is one of those old 'magnetic' albums with sticky pages. Once I get them out they won't stick again so I have to put them in a new album.

July 15, 2025

My mom did a cross stitch for each grandchild. This is the one for my niece, the youngest. It is not done, but as far as I can tell it only needs some outlines. I'm going to finish it and get it framed.

July 10, 2025

A storm formed above us and dumped 3 inches of rain in about an hour and a half. The storm was a narrow band, so areas about 4 miles north and south of us didn't get any rain.

July 9, 2025

My incision was closed with staples, which came out today.

The menu.  When my kids were born the hospital brought a paper in the morning and gave me three choices for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Now, there's lots of choices. Except the liquid diet, which I was on most of the time I was there and allowed to eat.

June 27, 2025

My daughter brought this kitty, which fit in my tissue box. The tag color on it matched the tissue box. Guess that color is in style.
