For some reason there is an explosion of groundhogs this year. There's at least 4 babies at my mom's, and at least two at my house. This one just walked right up toward me.
Goals
My major in college was studio art. Immediately after graduation, my husband and I started a family. As our family grew, art production took a back seat. Even photographs dwindled with each addition. I bought a DSLR, and decided to start my own art project. I will take pictures every day, and post one of them on this site.
I am finding that with digital, the results are immediate, allowing me to check my images and right away make adjustments to re-shoot the photo. The pictures are becoming a learning tool, and I hope that my photography impoves as the years progress.

Nikon DX 18-55mm lens
Sigma DG 70-300mm lens
