The fish pond is ready. The fish seem to like the new shallow area, and it makes it easier to see them.

On Saturday we got the gardens weeded and tilled. We haven't had much rain but I guess it's just enough to keep them from getting wilty.

Some kill deer built a nest in the middle of our new clover field. We worked around it the other day and now there is a second egg.

My daughter had an overnight gathering for her college. I asked her to send a photo of her dorm room so I included that below. It's awfully small- no wonder there's always students wandering around town.

We planted the new clover patch today. The dirt is really dry right now so raking the seeds in with a chain link fence made a lot of dust. Rain is coming though.
