Last summer I found this in the garden.  It is flint, chipped out to this shape.  We think it is the flint used in a flint-lock rifle so it was probably in the ground for a long time.

The ice box is getting closer to being done- it just needs the two doors painted now.  I've got some Coca-Cola stickers to go on the doors and side so we're still deciding what will go on top.

My daughter identified this as a red-shouldered hawk.  This is one of those animals where the name makes sense.
