April 28, 2023

Tomatoes are still growing!  It's been too cold to put them out in the greenhouse so they're stuck inside for a while.

April 27, 2023

The county had an art show with art from the local schools.  My daughter's drawing, the one on the bottom, won first place in the mixed media: high school category.

April 26, 2023

Our walk came to an abrupt stop when we saw this skunk.

April 8, 2023

My husband is working on taking down this tree.  It looked like it was dying last year and already wasn't looking too good this year.

April 7, 2023

My son bought a drone.  It has a really nice camera and we're having fun looking at the neighborhood from way up high.

April 6, 2023

This daffodil started growing in the middle of nowhere.  It was one flower at first, and now it's this nice grouping of flowers.

April 5, 2023

The pepper seedlings are looking like actual pepper plants.

April 4, 2023

The daffodils in the woods are blooming now.  They bloom earlier than the ones by the house despite being the same variety.

April 3, 2023

I got up on the roof with a caulking gun to glue down some shingles we saw flapping in the last wind storm.  For the most part, the shingles on the house still seem in good shape.

April 2, 2023

They ran a little drone up to check the barn roof.  There are a few shingles missing.

April 1, 2023

Another storm rolled through today.  We did not lose electric but my brother and sister both did.
