We got one last game in before next year.  This is a new game which my younger son picked out for Christmas.  We've enjoyed the two times we've played it so far.

The front seats of the Journey are comfy.  The second row is a tighter fit, and the third row exists for people who I imagine are less than 3 feet tall and wear shoes smaller than 5 inches in length.  We had noticed the plastic was still on a seat belt in the third row- it's because nobody can fit back there.  The third row seats lay flat to make lots of cargo room, and I'm guessing that's how it will stay.

A big storm came through, hitting most of the eastern US.  We did not get much snow, but got an excess of wind and cold.  It got down to 6 below, with a wind chill in the negative 30s due to wind gusts of 40+ mph.  Luckily, nobody at my house had to drive to work today.

Most of the presents are under the tree.  We had to put some outside the train track, but gave it a tunnel.

We worked on some LED projects.  My Lego holiday set has lights now, and my other son soldered some lights to a tree-shaped board.

They dug up some dirt today and brought in some truckloads of gravel.  Whatever they're doing, it's far back so we can't figure out what they are digging.

I got some gluten free pasta from the same supply store as the flour.  I ahd to buy it by the box.  Should last me quite a while.

I was ordering from a restaurant supply store and found out they have gluten free flour for about half what it costs elsewhere.  The only downside is that it comes in 25 pound bags.  I will have to separate it out into smaller bags.

The tree was put up today.  Two cats ran off and hid, but one stayed to observe.

We went to a model train show and I bought this for my plant shelf.  Some day I'll have a track to run it on up there.

The Goodyear blimp toy donation drive is this weekend.  I believe this truck is used as a mobile anchor for the blimp.
