I cleaned the snow off my car and before I could leave work the windshield already looked like this.  So far, my Monday morning commutes have been terrible.  Last week was heavy snow, today a truck in front of me hit black ice, got sideways, and rolled.  That might have been the first time I've ever called 911.

We ended up with a large drift in front of the house.  It is as tall as the office windowsill.

My first day of work had an interesting drive in.  It ranged from drifted over lanes, nearly invisible roads, and finally this.  My work is at the end of this dead end street, which had not been plowed.  Anyone without 4-wheel drive wasn't doing too well.  At the bottom of this hill is another four cars which you can barely see.  I have 4-wheel drive, though, so once they were out of my way I made it to work.  This kind of day is the reason we buy 4 wheel drive.  My biggest problem was finding an off-ramp, in an unfamiliar location, which was covered in snow.

The snow started this evening so we took my car to fill it with gas.  I finally got a job, and Monday is the first day.

My daughter has Friday and Monday off school, so I guess that's why our daily bus food delivery was bigger.  Some of my family was excited to relive their school days with the food.  My husband was happy about the little chocolate milks like what we had in school.  My younger son was thrilled to have the uncrustables peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, which I am told is good.

My daughter's school has gone remote for two weeks because covid is spreading really bad again.  The school is still providing lunches though, via bus.  After school my daughter waits for the bus to come by to get a bag of lunch supplies from the driver.

I got my husband some old timey decorations for his desk.  We tacked them up to see how they'd look, but realized that once we take the white paper backing off the vinyl sticker, the black legs on the snacks are going to disappear.  They're staying like this until we figure out a work-around.
