We hit some snow on the way home yesterday, so my son got some snow driving experience. Now we've got some on the ground again.

We worked on mom's leaves again. This year most of the leaves all fell off at once so it was extra thick this time. We got two more trailer loads. The gardens are too soft to drive into so I had to back the trailer up at a sharp angle. My daughter took a turn controlling the dump trailer on this trip.

We were weeding today and my son found a praying mantis egg sack. I've seen these before and had no idea what they were. I'm not sure how he knew, but glad he does so we can put it aside and have little praying mantis in the spring.

We got some snow today. I took pictures of the kids for Christmas, though it was snowing hard enough to keep getting in everyone's face.

Apparently it is deer mating season. Today we saw a doe being chased around by three bucks. This buck and another were big guys, while the third I saw was a little smaller. They disappeared after running across the road.
