My daughter's school has a costume day coming up so we went shopping at the Spirit of Halloween store.  These stores are a bit of an anomaly as they just pop up in the fall, filling up the empty space of a store which had gone out of business.  For being a temporary store, their displays were surprisingly elaborate.

We left this growing in our mulch, thinking it was corn.  Turns out it is millet, probably from bird seed.
