It's been very dry here lately so it was nice to have some rain again. Now all the seeds we planted will grow.

The pool finished draining to a certain point; the rest had to be vacuumed and mopped out. When we took the cover off, the water was clear but there was a lot of gunk on the bottom. We finished cleaning it around dark and started to fill it with water. Immediately, two tree frogs jump inside.

We planted some onions and lettuce in this area. We're still getting frost some nights, but this spot is against the house and won't get as cold. The evening sun heats up the brick, too, so it gets extra warm here.

We hooked the disc to my tractor and I disced our gardens today. This new patch still has lots of grass growing in it but hopefully this will help reduce the amount.
