When we went to the greenhouse we planned to get my son a lemon tree.  He didn't know it.  We were there for about one minute before he comes back to me excited because they have lemon trees.  He got to pick it out himself.  Now we'll see if we can get it to have lemons.

I was woke up by a storm rolling through with hard wind and rain for a little while.  This is the end of the storm.  This storm had a lot of bad tornadoes in other states so I won't complain about what we got.

We went on a family Christmas shopping trip.  This is a garden center near where I went to school.  They had a lot of pretty decorations for sale.

This weekend is the toy donation drive where we can drive through the blimp hanger.  Donations were put in the trunk and they opened it to retrieve the toys.  I ended up at the front of a pack while the car was unloaded so got an empty view of the drive past the blimp while waiting.

We worked on mom's leaves again.  This year most of the leaves all fell off at once so it was extra thick this time.  We got two more trailer loads.  The gardens are too soft to drive into so I had to back the trailer up at a sharp angle.  My daughter took a turn controlling the dump trailer on this trip.

We were weeding today and my son found a praying mantis egg sack.  I've seen these before and had no idea what they were.  I'm not sure how he knew, but glad he does so we can put it aside and have little praying mantis in the spring.
