I gave the cats their flea preventive medicine- now they will hate me for 2 days. This one ran off and hid for a while in my office, looking betrayed.

My husband dug up some holes in the hayfield. All of them aligned with a large drain tile running back to the neighbor's pond. He brought some dirt to fill the holes up.

I ran out of herbs the last time I made spaghetti sauce. The most affordable place to get large quantities of herbs is the amish bulk food store. I rarely go anywhere, but when I do, I go an hour before closing when there are fewer customers. This is the only place I buy certain baking supplies (like buttermilk powder, gelatin for marshmallows, spices, and yeast) because it's a fraction of the cost at the grocery store.

My daughter finally started back to school. Her school gave the choice of all online or all in-person classes. She's taking her classes online. She cleaned up her bedroom and has her school laptop back there, where she can close the door and have some privacy, and I don't have to worry about accidentally showing up in the background of her video.

I joined an online pattern group. For three months I get a new pattern for a bag. This one is from August. It's a nice size, and has straps to wear it as a backpack.

I got my husband to hook the brushhog up to my tractor. I like using this tractor to brushhog because it's smaller, has a sturdy front bumper to knock stuff down, and the exhaust isn't sticking up in the air to be bent over by low hanging tree limbs.

Our neighbor is running electric to his barn. It was interesting to see the dirt in the lower areas had a lot of clay, while higher ground was sandy.
