December 31, 2018

We got a few games in before the end of the year.

December 30, 2018

Our pinball machine.  It has an art deco, 1930s theme.

December 28, 2018

My husband has been working on our van.

December 27, 2018

I think the pinball machine is the most popular gift this year.  It's getting a lot of play by everyone.  We have a chalkboard for keeping high scores.

December 23, 2018

We had Christmas with my family today.

December 22, 2018

My husband picked up this cocktail table pinball machine.  He cleaned it up and has most of it working- enough for it to be playable.  It will be a 'family' Christmas gift.

December 21,2018

We finally got some gravel on our driveway.

December 20, 2018

My husband cleared enough space in the barn to get the camper inside for the winter.

December 19, 2018

I bought a new ornament.

December 18, 2018

I like the blue background best.

December 17, 2018

I'm trying to engrave snowflakes in wood.

December 11, 2018

This was my final drawing for my drawing class.  I have a test tomorrow, and then I'll be done for the semester.

December 9, 2018

The kids put the tree up today.

December 8, 2018

I think this is a female downy woodpecker.  She sat on the post for quite a while.

December 7, 2018

We went to the Goodyear blimp Toys for Tots drive today.  We arrived early enough there was a short line; a few cars behind us they put up cones and cars had to go out on the massive cone circle.  It's interesting to compare this photo to the one from last year (December 8, 2017), when they were still building this blimp.  This is Wingfoot Three, which first flew in June of this year.  Last Christmas, it wasn't painted and was closer to the floor (didn't have the gondola attached, among other things, like the propellers).  You're only inside the hangar for a few minutes, but it's still really interesting to see.  We took my father-in-law with us, and went out to eat afterward.  It might be turning into an annual trip for us.

December 5, 2018

My daughter sculpted this dragon and we heated it in the oven to make it hard.  I told her she has to paint it now.

December 4, 2018

With the holiday comes lots of new boxes for the kitties to enjoy.

December 3, 2018

My husband is still working on these.

December 2, 2018

It warmed up finally, so the kids worked a bit on decorations.

December 1, 2018

I'm trying to get caught up on all the classwork I missed last week.

November 30, 2018

We haven't got our yukon gold potatoes put away yet, so they're still in the wagon, with the reds in sacks.

November 29, 2018

I'm still not thinking as clear as normal, and missed taking a photo on the 29th.  I took this one on the 30th, but will post it for the 29th.  I put this planter on my mantle, and it looks nice there for now.

November 28, 2018

These are the two planters I took.  Now to find a good place to plant them.  I have a terrarium, but need to decide if I want to keep the waterfall.

November 27, 2018

My dad's funeral was today.  He had been in the army reserves for 7 years and had a military burial.  This is his flag and 15 of the shells from the 21 gun salute.  We miss you dad, and will never forget all you did for us.

November 26, 2018

Calling hours were tonight.  The slide show was playing in several places.  I uploaded 160 photos, and the slide show lasted 31 minutes.  It was therapeutic for me to create the slideshow, and I think a lot of people appreciated it.

November 25, 2018

I scanned a bunch of photos into the computer for a slide show of my dad.  These were the oldest photos.

November 24, 2018

We had to take my daughter out to buy some dress clothes for calling hours and the funeral.  This is what she ended up buying.

November 23, 2018

We cleaned up mom's yard today while it's not raining.  There were a lot of leaves and limbs down, but we got it all up.

November 22, 2018

This is one of the boxes my dad made.

November 21, 2018

My dad passed away.  We love and miss you dad.

November 20, 2018

Dad is still in the hospital in Cleveland.

November 19, 2018

My dad had a massive heart attack and is in the hospital.

November 18, 2018

We celebrated my son's birthday today.

November 16, 2018

The rain finally decided to become snow last night.  It's already looking like a bad winter.

November 15, 2018

We got freezing rain off and on for most of the day.

November 14, 2018

We got the fish inside.  They're too big for the tank we used last winter, so brought in an old formed pond, which is almost too small.  They're still growing.

November 13, 2018

I saw some geese flying over.

November 12, 2018

This is my bag of mechanical drawing supplies.
