I made salsa last year and canned it.  I'm not a fan of cooked peppers, but everyone else loved it so this year I bought some hot peppers to put in salsa.  I made my husband cut them, as they make me cough.

When it's flying around, this insect resembles a hummingbird.  It's called a hummingbird clearwing.  They seem to like my butterfly bush.

My son got his schedule today.  He had much better luck with locker location than my older son.  This one is in the center hallway, near the front.

My son passed the driver's test today and got his license.  We borrowed my mom's car, since it's nicer and smaller than any vehicle we own.

I made my niece a messenger bag for a graduation gift.  My mother-in-law is British, and I've noticed my niece wearing clothing and accessories with the union jack on them, so I made a quilt square of the U.K.'s flag.  I had a bag pattern, but added side pockets that were big enough for a bottle of water.

This pear tree has lots of pears again this year.

A pumpkin came up in the tomato patch, and for some reason nobody pulled it up.  So now I have pumpkins vineing all around the tomatoes.  This vine grew out of the fence, back in, and is now heading back out again.
