The gas company sent some people to re-seed the ground they tore up when they laid the pipeline.  They cut through our cable line (again).  This time, my husband couldn't temporarily fix it, so we were without cable, phone or internet for two days.  Oddly enough, I found I wasn't even turning on my computer without internet, and one of the things I missed the most was the current weather report.
