Across the road from us is a hayfield. Toward the back of it is a small, grass landing strip. I assume a very small plane could land there, but haven't seen that happen. However, every now and then, a small plane does buzz the strip, such as it did while I was snapping a photo of my husband and younger son mowing the front yard. If you look close, you can see a blue and white plane in the center of the photo. There is a remote control airplane club that flies planes back there. I keep wondering if they know that plane is coming and to ground their R/C planes, or if it is a surprise attack.
