Some of my tomatoes are growing really well. This one is tall and loaded with tomatoes. It's a san marzano which I really like for making spaghetti sauce.

I planted several different types of zucchini this year- varieties which are supposed to be resistant to powdery mildew. They are just now producing zucchini, sort of late in the year.

My daughter was at the optometrist today. Her prescription changed just a little. She's getting a new pair of glasses since our insurance will pay for much of it. I wonder if next year there will be new glasses designed to work well with masks.

We let some rye grow in the garden we gave up on this year. It was ready so we clipped the heads off and put them in bags. They're supposed to dry out for a couple weeks before we try and get the seeds out of the heads.

I took a picture of the comet NEOWISE. The kids said they could barely see it, but I could not see it with just my eyes as it is very faint. In this picture, it is center and about 1/3 of the way up from the bottom of the photo. I also got a helicopter (white line along the tree tops), and the Big Dipper with a lightning bug inside of it.

My husband took one of the doors off the ice box. The green under the hinges is it's original color.

We plugged this in. It works- and does not stop working. It was below freezing when we unplugged it.

I tried taking pictures of the lightning bugs. There are a few in this one, in the middle left. It's hard to get photos of them.
