May 30, 2019

It was my daughter's last day of school today- until August!

May 29, 2019

The bluebird perched on our tractor to watch me when I was out in the yard.

May 28, 2019

There is a bluebird family inside our bluebird box.

May 26, 2019

My husband got the garden tilled, though it will probably need a second run-through before we plant.

May 26, 2019

We got some plants for the garden.  Now if it will just stop raining for a few days so we can get it planted.

May 25, 2019

My husband bought an engine boring machine at an auction.

May 23, 2019

This was my son's project for one of our classes.

May 22, 2019

I took my younger son out driving and we saw a dramatic sunset with a rainbow.

May 21, 2019

The russian olives are blooming and smell really good back in the woods.

May 20, 2019

My cats enjoyed open windows today.

May 19, 2019

My burning bush is blooming.

May 18, 2019

My daughter had a few pieces of art in the school's art show.  The brightly colored one (which matches her shirt!) is hers.

We don't seem to get as many people to garage sales as we used to years ago.  We sold some things, but there was still a lot left on Saturday.

May 15, 2019

We're having a garage sale this weekend.

May 14, 2019

The sun has a sunspot, so thought I'd take a picture of this one.

May 13, 2019

My younger son designed a heart for mother's day and printed it on our 3D printer.

May 12, 2019

We got a new grill.  It came in many pieces and took a while to put together.

May 11, 2019

These are future grapes.

May 10, 2019

I was a chaperone for my daughter's class visit to the zoo today.  I had a group of four.  We had fun, even though it got a little chilly later in the day.

May 9, 2019

We came out to the van after our physics final exam and this excavator had parked next to us.

May 6, 2019

The fruit trees were getting hard to mow under due to low limbs, so my husband trimmed them today.

May 5, 2019

My husband tried out the new mower.  It seems to work well, though it's hard to tell if it's cutting even because the grass was so thick.

May 4, 2019

We bought a used finish mower today.  It has a 3-point hookup for the tractor and will hopefully decrease the time it takes us to mow the yard.

May 3, 2019

It doesn't seem to stop raining for more than about 12 hours at a time lately.  The ground is waterlogged in many places.  One section of our backyard is too wet to walk on, let alone drive a mower over.  If it doesn't dry out soon we'll need a hay mower to cut that area.

May 2, 2019

I am done with regular classes now, just have finals next and then I'll be done with this semester.  Those two books on the right were the hardest classes.

May 1, 2019

I like magnolia tree flowers, but only recently bought one for my house.  It's taking a while for it to get established.  This year it finally has a good amount of flowers, although it is still a small tree.
