Our pool liner had a slit in it, since it was a cheap pool. We ordered a new one, the type that should last a decade or two. So now we have to tear this one down and try to make flat, soft ground again.

This is our new fridge. It was a scratch and dent floor model, with a surprising number of dings. With proper magnet placement, however, you can't see any problems.

We noticed a pigeon on our barn roof with a band. We looked up the part we could read, and found out there are clubs around that race pigeons. We could only see the club ID on the band, so could not identify the owner. This pigeon, however, seems to like our barn, and is attracting wild pigeons to join her on our roof.

This is potentially my first zucchini of the season. In my experience, though, the first one never grows right or dies, so I need to watch for the second one to appear.

We put birdseed in the feeder since the woodpecker kept showing up. Today he was followed by a young woodpecker, which he kept feeding.

They keep saying it will rain, but we've only seen about 30 seconds of rain. We watch the radar and see the rain and clouds go around us.

We had to replace our fridge. This is the back of the new one. I'm hoping it will be a while before I need to see the back of this again.

We stopped at horseshoe curve in Altoona, PA on the way home. You can see the same train on the right and left. It curves along the hill from the right, behind me, then around to the left. We saw five trains go by, with between 3 and 5 engines to make it up and down the hill.

We went on vacation to West Virginia and Virginia this year. This is Seneca Rocks, as seen from a trail in our campground.
