I went out shopping this morning, and came out to a white out.  I sat in my car for a while until it calmed down, as I couldn't even see all the way across the parking lot, let alone down the road.  It blew and snowed like that until the evening, just every now and then a near white out.

It snowed again last night.  They're off school again today.  This is their 8th snow day, I don't think there's been this many snow days that I can remember.  We're collecting quite a pile of snow by the front door.  You can see the snow on our sidewalk is knee-high to a middle schooler.

My daughter went to a birthday party at an art center.  They got to make splatter paint paintings.  One small one for themselves, and then this large canvas on the floor which will get streteched onto a frame for the birthday girl.  Her mom said they were remodeling her room, and this painting would be the centerpiece.  Cool idea!
