For spelling tests, my daughter's second grade teacher has a big list. She goes through the list with each kid, and the first 15 they get wrong are their own individualized spelling list for the next week. If they miss a word, it stays on their list until they get it right. It turns out, my daughter is a good speller, and is pretty far down the master list already. This was her list for this week. I had to stop and think for a moment on some of those words myself!

My daughter is in basketball this year. Today was her first game. The first play of the game she shot and make a basket! She didn't attempt any more baskets the rest of the game, so I guess she has a 100% shot record for now. She did really well though, guarding and passing. It will be fun watching her and the other girls getting better each week.

They came and finished framing and roofing this morning. Time to make the final decision on what shades of red/white we want for the siding and trim.

A crane came today and they got the trusses set up. The wind got worse throughout the day, so it's good they started early.

They got the first floor walls up today and one gable end ready. It seems so tall, but it needs to be so we can get the camper inside. Tomorrow is supposed to be wet and cold, so they're coming back later in the week with a crane for the trusses.

We got everything tarped and ready for framers to come tomorrow. We finally found someone who would do it for a reasonable price (thankfully, as we still weren't sure how we would get the trusses up there if we did it ourselves).

We've had a stack of osb board in the basement for many years. He had to haul it out of there and bring it up with the rest of the lumber.

My daughter's class had an assignment, to decorate this turkey. So we managed to find some random stuff to glue on, including some camouflage so he can hide a little easier.
