The hard frost we had back in late May killed the new growth on our pine trees.  The dead parts are still hanging on, I thought they would have fallen off by now.

Some of the school supplies we have.  We picked up the boys' schedules today.  My younger son will be at the middle school this year, with a locker and lots of class changes.  I think he may have been the most excited about having a locker.

Made our annual trip to downtown Akron for a checkup.  Something is being built near the hospital, not sure what though.  Guess we'll see next year!

We saw a replica of a Wright B flyer, which was the first production model the Wright brothers made.  It was neat to see it running and lift off.

We visited a mill today.  Then walked along the river after we ate.

We went to the air force museum in Dayton.  This one was outside.  Instead of bombs painted on the side, like many of the World War II planes, it has six movie cameras from the videos and movies it has appeared in.

Our first night of vacation.  We made s'mores once the fire was going.  It's the first night we had the camper at a campground with hookups.  We thought it would be nice to be able to use the air conditioner, but it was too cold.  We brought along lots of extra blankets, and turned on the furnace in the mornings.  It was a nice campground, and even had concrete pads to park beside.
