Bringing in more wood. Beside our swimming pool spot. We put the tarp down to protect our level sandy spot, then had to put a fence around it so the dog wouldn't dig it up.

We played a game based off World War II. But it's like Monopoly and is sort of an all-day game. We haven't come close to finishing a game yet.

A snowstorm blew through around the time the kids came home. The wind was so bad I drove out to the end of the driveway to pick them. As I turned around, it stopped.

Here they're running the line to the house. That machine bores underground, rather than digging a ditch.

They're going to run a natural gas line down the road and to our house. Someone came and put flags down to mark the electric line and telephone line. But I think that what they marked as phone is actually cable. The phone line is in the same general area though.

The bridal shower was today. Along with a very bad snowstorm. We started about 1 1/2 hours late because most of the guests were stuck in backed up traffic on the interstate... including the bride. Apparently, the snow caused quite a few wrecks. But everyone made it to the shower, eventually. She got lots of nice stuff to start filling up their house.

I went to an awards assembly today. Afterward, some classes exited the gym's side door and walked outside to another school entrance near their classrooms. I had to laugh at the teacher warning them to avoid the mud, and wondered how many (boys) were thinking about walking right through it.
