We got the pool mostly set up. We're using a garden hose to fill it, so it's gonna take a while. Since it's well water, it's also ice cold. That didn't stop the kids from playing in it though.

New Philadelphia, Ohio. It's a little roller coaster, but still quite a bit of fun.

It's a UFO!
The RC airplane club across the road had a nightfly today. They light up their planes and fly them. So I took some time lapse pictures, which turned out rather interesting.

My daughter graduating from "Safety Town". This is also the day parents might come to the sudden realization that their child doesn't know how to properly shake hands. She did better than my left-handed son, though.

We weren't able to work on the pool today.

I'm watching my sister's kids one day a week. I kept them at mom and dad's this week. I thought it would be nice to burn off some of their energy with a bike ride to the park. Turns out, the park was quite crowded. This picture is like "I Spy"... I spy my daughter, my dad, and two nephews (good luck finding them all!). Then on the way back, my younger son wrecked his bike at the bottom of the hill by the playground. He's got some road rash, but we were able to get him to ride back home.

These piles of gravel seemed to be the most exciting part of the bike ride for the kids.

I heard the dog barking, and it sounded like she saw an animal so I ignored her. About 15 minutes later I finally went to see what was going on. I guess these two would have been at this for quite a while, but I took our dog inside. It was a pretty big groundhog, with some pretty big teeth!

Went out for a walk and passed this field of corn. Due to the excessive amount of rain this year, a lot of the fields are going in late.
