November 16, 2011

One of the bradford pear trees in the front yard. They stay this exact shape, without trimming. They are also some of the last trees to turn bright colors. I got these trees 10 years ago for my husband's 30th birthday. For several years I thought they weren't growing before it finally occurred to me they were indeed taller, they just didn't seem like it because their shape stayed the same.

November 15, 2011

November 13, 2011

I'm trying to start a terrarium. I saw some pictures on the internet, and they looked cute with moss growing in them. I figured, I have lots of moss growing in the woods, might as well try. Turns out, there are more varieties of moss back there than I thought. I think next I need to paint a small rock to look like a ladybug.
